Lana Scolaro was born in London, UK on December 27th, 1994. From a young age, her parents enrolled her in guitar lessons after school. She began by playing in school musicals, which ultimately led her to join the honours orchestra in high school, where she discovered her passion for composing music. In the summer of 2012, Lana took a leap of faith and moved to New York to attend Parsons the New School for Design. During her time there, she decided to pursue a full-time career in music and started performing at open mic nights and showcases to gain recognition. Lana spent her summers on the island of Ibiza, Spain, where she worked on music production with well-known DJs in the industry using Ableton Live. She attended Point Blank Music School in Ibiza in 2013 to further her production knowledge. Lana began creating mixes and posting them on Soundcloud and Mixcloud, which led to her discovery by The Books DJ Agency in London and Splash Life Booking in Los Angeles. She went on tour with hip hop artists Chanel West Coast, Lil Wayne, and DJs Luciano and Bob Sinclair, landing her first production deal with Extensive Music. In addition to her successful performances and music releases, Lana has won 8 awards from award shows in Europe. Her musical influences include David August, Tale of Us, and Solomun, among others.
